Types of Civilisations - Kardashev Scale

Image
Types Of Civilisations - Kardashev Scale  Types of Civilisations Kardashev Scale Life on Earth is so weak and fragile, in comparison to activities happening in Space. We have our own troubles in the form of Volcanoes, Earthquakes, Tsunamis and the list just goes on and on. An asteroid attack from Space can wipe out the whole of Humanity, like the one which wiped out the Dinosaurs, 66 million years ago. So looking at the scenarios Earth maybe looking for ways to kill us !  Maybe we as a civilisation are not yet strong enough to save ourselves from planetary as well as cosmic disturbances. How could we move to a better civilisation ? In 1964, A Russain Astrophysicst Nikolai Kardashev proposed the system for all possible civilisations on the cosmic scale. The scale was named as the Kardashev Scale after his name . The kardashev scale distinguished Civilisations into three types Type - I, Type - II, and Type - III based upon the energy each can produce.  ...

The Darkest truth of the Universe : Bootes Void

Image
The Darkest truth of the Universe : Bootes Void Bootes Void; The largest known Void in the Observable Universe What are the darkest secrets according to you in the Universe? Dark Matter , Dark Energy , Expansion of the Universe, or The Fermi Paradox ! Its quite amazing that with the trillions and zillions of galaxies and stars occuping  the Universe, the most astonishing and nonunderstandable secret of the Universe is a dark void named BOOTES VOID . The void was named so, after its discovery in the constellation of BOOTES, which is about 700 million light years from Earth. Now, We know that the Universe is HUGE ! beyond the scale of the Human mind and the gravitational energy between the galaxies constantly push each other back and forth due to which voids are quite common. So what is it that makes BOOTES VOID worth a mention ? 0.27% of the diameter is what the Bootes void Holds in the observable Universe The Bootes void is one huge void, It occupies about 0....

5 theories and predictions on what could be there outside the Observable Universe.

5 theories and predictions on what could be there outside the Observable Universe. The Observable Universe; The Universe we know   Have you ever imagined  what could possibly be there outside the observable Universe ? Since Humans have shown interest in space there has always been a curiosity if the observable Universe is all it is or something more is out there. To know what could be possibly out there beyond our vision we first must understand what is the observable Universe ? Now, the Observable Universe according to humans is the part of the Universe availaible to be seen to us. Let's make it a bit simple each and every star, planets and galaxies, everything visible today to us in space is the observable Universe. The Observable Universe is roughly 14 billion light years old, that is, the oldest light we receive from any star or source from space is about 14 billion light years away from us and this is the time we think the Universe was created ...

How far has humanity reached on the scale of the Universe ?

Image
How far has humanity reached on the scale of the Universe ? How far has humanity reached on the scale of the Universe ? Robin Knox-Johnston  (UK),  was the first man to sail around the Earth, first men to climb the Everest Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay. Humanity in the past two centuries have evolved like they haven't in their entire lifespan on Earth. From Industrial revolution to Electricity, from nuclear weapons to treating deadly diseases, but have we done enough yet ? How far has humanity reached on the scale of the Universe ?  All the great explorers from Christopher Colombus to Robin knox - Johnston to Magellan have lived their lives in absolute zero on the scale of the Universe. To be precise 99% of Human beings never leave Earth and live all their life in this lonely rock. Apollo 11, the first mission to land humans on the surface of Moon Yuri Gagarin , was the first man to leave Earth to be on Space on the 12th of April 1961. His flig...

Why the Next 10 Years of Elon Musk Will Smash the Last 10 ? Elon Musk could be the Next big thing coming in Space exploration. Elon Reeve Musk, is   the next superman in the field of space and explorations. Born in June 28, 1971 in Pretoria, South Africa, is a man of wonders. No wonder he has been a name more often heard than not in the past decade or so. And he holds the promise of being an even bigger name in the next 10 years. He is primarily the founder, CEO and lead designer of Space X . He is also the chief in Tesla Motors, a company which works to provide electric driven cars and solar cars. But as we say, great success takes even great failures to be achieved. Elon Musk is a multi billionaire and is one of the 100 richest personalities in the world. He owns a lot of variety of firms but in consideration of the betterment of humanity. This is a space channel so we would only be talking about Space X and its past and future ventures. What if Nasa had the American Military Budget ?

Image
What if Nasa had the American Military Budget ? What if Nasa had the American Military Budget ? The U.S sure is a superpower today with its Military dominance over other countries. The American military Budget accounts upto about $600 billion per year compared to which Nasa is roughly $20 billion per year. So what if Nasa had the American military budget ? What changes it could make in the field of space exploration ? The U.S is already a superpower in the field of arms and equipments holding the majority of all advanced weapons. The U.S army enjoys about 54% of the country's G.D.P. We know that in the time we live military consolidation is a necessity of each and every nation but we must not forget that in the process of Army consolidation, America is losing its old prestige of leading the pathway of space exploration and research. Private companies like Space X and Virgin Gallactic are thriving and constantly challenging the legacy of governmental space organ...

Insane (But True) Things About Limits of Humanities

Image
Insane (But True) Things About Limits of Humanities How far can Humanity go ? What are the limits of Humanity ? This is a Space blog so we would only be talking about the limits of Humanity in Space. The technology we have today doesn't let us go anywhere farther than our Solar System. But in about, say, a Billion years Humanity may reach the Kardaschev scale - III type civilisation where moving within a galaxy or two may not sound so stupid as it does today. Local group of galaxies The Milky Way is a spiral galaxy, 100,000 light years across in distance. The Milky way is in a group of 50 more galaxies along with Andromeda  known as the Local Group . So even if we reach the type - III civilisation, we would not be able to go any further than the local group. Now that is a brain twister Why the hell can we not go further ? Why we cannot go further than the local group ? With a type - III technology we would have the liberty to access all the Galaxies within ...
